Stableford

In a Stableford league every golfer plays their own round and earns points on each hole from their net score versus par. The highest total wins. There is no opponent and no byes.

Makeup rounds, miss points and Play the Card are for match play and team match play only. A golfer who can't play a week can mark it as "Not playing this week". See Scoring Rules.

Points Per Hole

Handicap strokes are applied first (the same way as in Stroke Play), then each hole's net score is compared with par:

Net score vs parPoints
Albatross or better (3 under or more)5
Eagle4
Birdie3
Par2
Bogey1
Double bogey or worse0

The point values are fixed. They are not a league setting.

Example. On a par 4 that gets one stroke, a gross 5 is a net 4 (par) and earns 2 points. A gross 4 is a net 3 (birdie) and earns 3.

Season Standings

The season total is the sum of each round's Stableford points, and the highest total ranks first.

  • A missed week adds no Stableford points.
  • Golfers with no rounds played are listed at the bottom.
  • Tied golfers share a rank and are listed alphabetically. See Leaderboard.
  • The hot streak icon goes to whoever earned the most points across the last two locked weeks.

See Handicap and Strokes for how strokes are worked out and Season Standings for the other standings views.
