Install as App (PWA)
RoundBoss can be installed as an app on your phone or tablet without going through an app store. This gives you a home screen icon, full-screen experience, and faster access to your dashboard.
What Is a PWA?
A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a website that can be installed like a native app. It opens in its own window (no browser toolbar), loads faster on repeat visits, and can receive push notifications.
Install on Android / Chrome
If you dismissed the banner, it will reappear after 7 days. You can also install manually: tap the Chrome menu (three dots) and select Add to Home Screen or Install App.
Install on iPhone / iPad (Safari)
Separate Apps for Players and Managers
RoundBoss creates different app experiences depending on how you access it:

Each installs as a separate app icon on your home screen.
Push Notifications
Once installed, you can opt in to push notifications for league updates. The app will prompt you to enable notifications after installation. See your dashboard settings to manage notification preferences.
Notification Types
Push notifications are sent for the following events:
- League chat messages — New messages posted in the league chat
- Direct messages — Private messages from your league manager
- Activity feed events — Birdies, eagles, lead changes, and match completions
Deep Linking
Tapping a notification opens the app directly to the relevant page. For example, a chat notification opens the Chat tab, and an activity notification opens the activity feed. No extra navigation needed.
If you tap the X on the install banner, it will not appear again for 7 days. After that, it will show again in case you change your mind.
