RSVP & Attendance
Players can tell the league whether they are coming to their next match. RSVP is for visibility only — it never changes matchups or scoring on its own.
Player RSVP
On the player dashboard, the next match card offers three responses: Coming, Maybe, or Not coming. The player can change it, and sees their opponent’s response too. Spectators cannot RSVP.
Manager View & Override
The league’s Overview tab has an Attendance section for the upcoming week showing the coming / maybe / not-coming counts and a row for every player. The manager can set or clear any player’s RSVP on their behalf by clicking an option in that row — useful when someone texts you instead of using the app.
What RSVP Does Not Do
RSVP is a reference, not an input. Generating matchups does not skip players marked Not coming, and a Not-coming RSVP does not count as a missed week.
- Matchups — generate or edit them as usual; use the RSVP counts to decide whom to pair or sit out.
- Misses — a missed week is recorded only when the manager (or player score entry) marks the player as missed on the scorecard. Miss points, makeup rounds, and the max-misses cap all key off that explicit miss, never off RSVP. See Makeup Rounds.
Registration
If open registration is on, players who join as spectators can view the schedule and leaderboard but cannot RSVP, enter scores, or appear in matchups.
