Golfers: your personal link
RoundBoss gives every golfer one personal link, emailed to the address your league manager entered. It opens all of your leagues. There is no account and no password, so there is nothing to reset on a sign-in page. The link does not expire; it stops working only when it is replaced by a new one.
1
Search your email first
Look for a message from RoundBoss. Check Spam, Junk, Promotions and any "Other" tab, and search for "RoundBoss". If your email provider filters mail from new senders, mark the message as not spam so the next one arrives.
2
If the link says it has changed, use Email me my link
When a link has been replaced, the page it opens says your RoundBoss link has changed. Tap Email me my link and RoundBoss emails your current link to the address on file. The page shows only a masked version of the address, for example the first letter and the domain, so you can tell which inbox to check. To stop abuse, RoundBoss sends at most 5 link emails an hour per golfer, and the page still says it was emailed when that limit is hit. If you have asked a few times and nothing arrived, wait an hour, check Spam again, then ask your league manager. If the page says it has no email for you, your manager needs to add one.
3
Otherwise, ask your league manager
Managers can send your link from the Players tab: Send link emails you the current link, and Send a new link replaces it and emails the new one (a link is only emailed when an email address is on file). Managers never see your link, so they cannot read it out or paste it to you, and you should not ask them to.
4
Tell them if your email address is wrong or missing
Your manager can only send a link to the email on your player profile. Ask them to correct it first. A player with no email address cannot be sent a link.
lightbulbSome facilities have a sign-up page or QR code, if the facility has turned it on. Enter your name and email there and tap Email me my link: RoundBoss matches you by email address only, never by name, and emails your personal link to that address. The page gives the same answer whether or not the address is already known, so it never tells you which it is. If you are already a RoundBoss golfer, nothing changes (you are added to that facility) until you open the link sent to you. Use the email address your league manager has for you.
If you think someone else has your link
Anyone who holds your link can open your leagues, so treat it like a password. Open RoundBoss from your link, and use Reset my link on your own page, or ask your manager to Send a new link. Either way the old link stops working everywhere, and the new one is emailed to you if an email address is on file. Never post your link in a group chat or send it in a support email.
Managers: forgot your password
Managers sign in with an email and a password.
2
Enter your email
Enter the address you registered with and complete the check. RoundBoss answers the same way whether or not that address has an account, so a missing email does not mean the address is wrong. Check Spam and Junk.
3
Use the reset link within one hour
The reset link in the email works for one hour and only once. If it has expired or you already used it, request another from the same page.
If no email arrives after a few minutes and a second request, write to support. Do not put your password in the message.
Solo Mode: sign-in link
Solo Mode also signs you in with an emailed link instead of a password. Enter your email on the Solo sign-in page. The link in the email is good for 15 minutes and for one sign-in, so request a new one if it expires. RoundBoss answers the same way whether or not the address has an account, so if nothing arrives, check Spam and that you typed the address you registered with. See Solo Mode.
Still stuck
Contact support and say which of the three groups you are in. Do not include your link, a password or a card number.
