Creating a League

Setting up a new league takes just a few minutes. Here is what you need to get started.

Navigate to the RoundBoss manager login page and create an account with your email and a password. Once signed in, you will land on the manager dashboard where you can create your first league.

League Setup

1
Start the wizard

Click Create League from the manager dashboard to open the setup wizard.

2
Mode and where you play

Pick League (Tournament and Golf Outing are the other modes), then choose Real Course or Simulator. Simulator is locked until your account has a facility with an active Golf Course plan.

3
Basics

League Name (shown to all players, e.g., "Wednesday Night League") and Holes Per Round (9 or 18). For 9 holes, choose Front 9 or Back 9.

4
Format

Match Play, Team Match Play, Stroke Play, Stableford, Scramble, Best Ball, or Alternate Shot.

5
Details

Team size and sweep bonus for team formats, whether fun weeks count toward standings, and the course: a course-scorecard search plus zip code for real-course leagues, or a GSPro catalog course for simulator leagues.

6
Schedule

Start Date and Season Weeks (1-52; you can add more later), plus an optional default tee time and stagger interval (real course) or session start time (simulator).

7
Players

Type names one per line, and optionally generate matchups for the whole season or random teams.

8
Review and Create

Check the summary, then click Create League. You land on the league page right away; during the free trial the league activates automatically.

See League Setup Wizard for every option on each screen.

After Creation

Once your league is created, you will be taken to the league management page where you can:

  • Add players individually or via CSV import
  • Configure scoring settings (handicap weeks, stroke multiplier)
  • Generate matchups for the first week
  • Customize your league banner

Multiple Leagues

You can run more than one league from the same account. Just create another league from your dashboard — each one has its own roster, schedule, and leaderboard.
