Session Live Leaderboard
Each simulator session has its own live leaderboard accessible from the Simulator tab in league management.
Accessing the Session Leaderboard
The session leaderboard shows:
- Player rankings by score to par
- Total score, putts, and GIR (greens in regulation) per player
- Bay badges for multi-bay sessions
- Bay filter buttons to view a single bay's scores
- Auto-refresh indicator showing live connection status
Scorecard Depth View
Click any player on the leaderboard to see their detailed scorecard:
- Hole-by-hole scores with par comparison
- Stroke indicators (birdie, bogey, etc.)
- Running score to par
- Putts and fairway hit data per hole
On desktop, the scorecard panel appears in the sidebar. On mobile, it slides in below the leaderboard.
League-Wide Live Page
For leagues running multiple simultaneous sessions (e.g., a multi-bay facility), the League Live page aggregates all active sessions into a single leaderboard.
Accessing League Live
From the league's Simulator tab, click League Leaderboard at the top (it opens in a new tab at /sim/league-live/{leagueId}). This page is public and can be displayed on a TV or shared with spectators without requiring a login. Each session row also has its own Live Leaderboard link.
What It Shows
- Combined leaderboard across all active sessions for the league
- Total active sessions and player count
- 5-second auto-refresh with visual indicator
- Skins card (if skins are enabled for the league)
- Recent shot highlights feed
- Links to drill into individual session leaderboards
TV Display
The League Live page is designed for large-screen display:
- Clean, high-contrast layout readable from a distance
- Automatic updates without user interaction
- Session list sidebar for quick navigation between sessions
- Skins and highlights in the sidebar on desktop
To display on a TV, open the League Live URL in a full-screen browser on any device connected to the TV.
Refresh Persistence
Both the session and league live pages preserve their state across browser refreshes:
- The leaderboard reloads from the server with current scores
- Selected player stays highlighted if still in the session
- Bay filters and sort order reset to defaults on refresh
- The auto-refresh timer restarts immediately
No scores are lost on refresh — all live data is persisted server-side as it arrives.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Leaderboard shows "No Active Sessions" | Ensure at least one session is in "Active" or "Round Started" status |
| Scores not updating in real-time | Verify the Bridge app is running on the simulator PC. Look for the green "Live" or "Auto-refresh" indicator on the leaderboard |
| Player missing from leaderboard | The player must be checked in to the session. Verify their check-in on the session detail page |
| League Live shows partial data | Only sessions in active/started status are included. Completed or stopped sessions are excluded |
| TV display looks wrong | Use a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) in full-screen mode. The page adapts to screen size automatically |
