Custom Leaderboard Views
RoundBoss provides multiple ways to view league standings beyond the default season leaderboard. Managers can create custom leaderboard views, and players can filter by Nassau segments, flights, and team/individual perspectives.
Season Leaderboard (Default)
The default leaderboard shows cumulative season standings. How players are ranked depends on the league format:
| Format | Metric | Sort Order |
|---|---|---|
| Match Play | Total match play points (hole wins + bonuses + Play the Card) | Highest first |
| Stroke | Cumulative or average net score (configurable) | Lowest first |
| Stableford | Cumulative stableford points | Highest first |
| Team formats | Team net total or team match points (depending on format) | Varies by format |
Stroke Leaderboard Mode
For stroke play leagues, managers can choose between two leaderboard modes in Settings:
- Average (default) — Ranks by average net score per round. Better for leagues where players miss weeks.
- Cumulative — Ranks by total net score across all rounds. Rewards consistency and attendance.
Nassau Segments
When Nassau is enabled on an 18-hole league, players can view standings filtered to specific segments of the round.
Available Segments
| Segment | Holes | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Overall | 1–18 | Full-round standings (default view) |
| Front 9 | 1–9 | Standings based on the first nine holes only |
| Back 9 | 10–18 | Standings based on the last nine holes only |
Players switch between segments using the tab buttons at the top of the leaderboard page. Each segment recalculates standings using only hole-level data from the relevant holes.
Team vs. Individual Views
In Team Match Play leagues, the leaderboard offers two perspectives:
- Teams (default) — Teams ranked by total points, including individual match play points from all members plus sweep bonuses.
- Individual — All players ranked by their personal match play points, independent of team results.
Use the toggle at the top of the leaderboard to switch between views.
Flight Filtering
When Flighting is enabled, the leaderboard can be filtered by flight. A flight filter dropdown appears at the top of the leaderboard. Select a flight to see only players in that group, or choose All to view the full league standings.
Custom Leaderboard Views
Managers can create additional leaderboard views that appear as tabs on the player leaderboard page. These provide alternative ranking perspectives alongside the default season standings.
View Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Net Score | Ranks players by net score (lower is better) |
| Gross Score | Ranks players by gross score, ignoring handicap |
| Stableford | Ranks by stableford points (higher is better) |
| Skins | Tracks skins won — a skin is awarded when a player has the lowest unique score on a hole |
| Custom | Custom scoring configuration for specialized formats |
Creating a Custom View (Manager)
Managing Views
- Edit — Change the display name or primary status of an existing view
- Delete — Remove a view permanently
- Recompute — Use the Recompute All Leaderboards button to recalculate standings for all custom views from scratch
Primary View
One view can be marked as Primary. The primary view is highlighted on the player leaderboard and may be shown by default when multiple views exist.
How Players See Custom Views
On the player leaderboard page, custom views appear as small tab buttons below the main controls. Players tap a tab to see standings for that view. The default Season tab shows the standard leaderboard.
Tournament Leaderboard
Tournament leagues display a specialized leaderboard with per-round scores and a cumulative total. See Tournament Mode for details.
Tournament-Specific Features
- Round-by-round scores — Each player's score for each round is displayed in columns
- To-par display — Stroke play tournaments show the cumulative score relative to par
- Cut line — When tournament cuts are configured, eliminated players appear below a visual cut line with reduced opacity
Hot Streak Indicator
A fire icon appears next to players who have earned above-average points in the last two completed weeks. This gives a quick visual indicator of who is performing well recently.
Troubleshooting
Nassau tabs not showing? Nassau is only for 18-hole leagues. Make sure it is turned on in your league settings and that your course has 18 holes.
