Nassau Scoring

This page is about the Nassau setting, not the Team Nassau format. If you run (or are planning) a league of two-golfer teams playing A against A, B against B and team best ball, read Team Nassau. Team Nassau and Rotating Partners leagues do not have the Nassau setting described below.

The Nassau setting splits an 18-hole round into three separate competitions: Front 9, Back 9, and Overall. It is available for an 18-hole league in the older formats (Match Play, Stroke Play and so on), not for Rotating Partners or Team Nassau.

Front 9

Points and scores from holes 1-9 only.

Back 9

Points and scores from holes 10-18 only.

Overall

Combined full-round standings across all 18 holes (default view).

How It Works

When Nassau is enabled, the leaderboard provides three segment views:

Enabling Nassau

Open Settings

Open your league and go to Settings.

Open Scoring & Handicaps

Open the Scoring & Handicaps group, then More scoring rules.

Enable it

In Nassau Scoring, tick Enable Nassau Scoring and save your changes.

Your league must be an 18-hole format for Nassau to be available.

Scorecard Subtotals

When Nassau is enabled, scorecards display front and back subtotals for both gross and net scores, making it easy to see how each half played out.

Leaderboard Tabs

Players see segment tabs at the top of the leaderboard page. Each tab recalculates standings based on only the holes in that segment.

Nassau pairs well with Presses -- players can press at any point during the round, adding an extra layer of competition on top of the Nassau splits.
