Siri Voice Scoring
Players in a match play league can post their score for each hole by voice on an iPhone: say “Hey Siri, RoundBoss”, answer with the number of strokes, and RoundBoss records the hole and reads back your running score.

Voice scoring is available for 1v1 match play leagues. In other formats the Set up Siri card does not appear.
Setup (once, on the player’s iPhone)

Open Settings in your player portal
From your player link, open Settings. Under Voice Scoring, tap Set up Siri.

Step 1 — Copy & add Setup
Tap Copy my link & add Setup. This copies your personal scoring link and opens the RoundBoss Setup shortcut in the Shortcuts app. Add it and run it once — it stores your link on the phone.

Step 2 — Add the scorer
Tap Add “RoundBoss” to add the shortcut you will say to Siri.
Both shortcuts install from iCloud through Apple’s Shortcuts app; there is nothing else to download. Your scoring link is personal — do not share it.
Scoring a Hole
- Say “Hey Siri, RoundBoss”.
- Siri asks for your score; say the number of strokes (1–15).
- RoundBoss writes it to the next unscored hole of your current match and replies with the result — for a notable hole it names it (ace, eagle, birdie), then gives your gross so far, score to par, and holes left.
The hole is worked out for you: RoundBoss uses your most recent open week and fills the lowest hole you have not yet scored, following the league’s starting hole (front or back nine). If the week is locked or there is nothing to score, Siri says so instead of failing silently.
Notes
- Scores posted by voice show up in your portal and the manager’s score entry exactly like typed scores; you or the manager can edit them afterwards.
- Android phones are not supported — the feature relies on Apple Shortcuts.
